We took the Zode out of Dana Point up to Treasure Island. We did a one tank dive. We hit the water around 9am and were putting the boat back on the trailor by noon.

Vertical vis at most of the places we checked, along the way, was 20 to 30 feet. At Treasure Island, vertical vis was probably much higher, probably closer to 40 foot, but the depth at the locaction we were checking was only about 30 feet. We dropped anchor at Treasure Island just outside the last reef and we could clearly see our anchor and chain on the bottom.

Horizontal vis was around 20 to 30. The fish were smaller than they are at some of the other spots we dive at from the Zode (probably because this site is beach accessable). But the fish were plentiful.
